L’Écho des racines Returns!

We are delighted to present L’Écho des racines once again, as part of a new series of concerts and performances in and around Montréal, including several Maisons de la culture. This choreographic and musical project unfolds at the intersection of two dance traditions with contrasting dynamics: flamenco and Québécois step dancing.

Guided by a poetic universe inspired by roots and fungi—those invisible networks of communication and support—L’Écho des racines explores the underground connections between traditions, their transmission, and their embodiment in the dancing body. Through percussive affinities and the tensions they generate, the work questions our relationship to time, territory, and the deep ties that connect cultural legacies beneath the surface.
